WARDOGS Support XP: Hammer Unlocks and Useful Building
Help finish and repair useful team structures before spending on a bigger personal project. Plan hammer upgrades using their recorded Support gates and fees. Published XP thresholds are not measured XP-per-hour rates.

A practical Support progression route
Community observation: Baalerith: Support progression, updated September 13
Baalerith recommends helping an experienced builder complete useful structures, repairing damage and bringing supplies. Early matches may offer more unfinished work. Once larger tools unlock, contribute to projects the base needs rather than placing unused structures.
Use that as a task-selection method, not an XP-per-hour promise. The size of a completed project alone does not establish its return after travel, supply collection and downtime.
Small, medium and large hammer requirements
Catalogue snapshot: Equipment catalogue and source limitations
These rows use recorded equipment values. A one-time unlock fee and the price of buying the tool are different costs. Blank requirements remain unrecorded rather than becoming an assurance that a fresh account can buy the item.
| Hammer | Shop purchase | Unlock requirement | Unlock fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small Hammer | $100 | Not recorded | Not recorded |
| Medium Hammer | $800 | Support level 3 | $25,000 |
| Large Hammer | $2,400 | Support level 8 | $75,000 |
Choose useful work at each stage
Community observation: Baalerith: Support progression, updated September 13
The suggested progression keeps contribution and learning together. It does not require designing an entire base on the first attempt.
| Stage | Useful task | Stop and reconsider when |
|---|---|---|
| Learning the layout | Help finish an experienced builder's placements. | Your changes would obstruct the existing plan. |
| Improving the perimeter | Finish missing protection and usable entrances. | The team already has enough and supplies are needed elsewhere. |
| Larger projects | Help with a requested emplacement, reinforced wall or drill project. | Nobody will supply, operate or defend the result. |
When the construction task is finished
Community observation: Baalerith: Support progression, updated September 13
The Support guide suggests carrying revive equipment for nearby casualties and spotting approaching enemies when building work runs out. Those are separate role activities, not extra Support rewards for doing nothing.
Check each tool's own requirements before adding it. The objective is a useful next action, not keeping the most expensive item equipped.
Check your own progression without inventing a rate
Compare the same role's XP before and after a complete session. Include preparation and travel in the time. Record cash change separately so that a useful XP session is not mistaken for a profitable one.
XP thresholds answer how much you need. Only observations of the actual activity answer how quickly you gain it.
Do not confuse productive play with exploit servers
Official announcement: BULKHEAD: Patch 0.11 and economy-abuse policy, September 12
BULKHEAD's September 12 announcement distinguishes normal play from economy abuse and warns that dedicated XP-farming servers can lead to permanent bans. Use legitimate match objectives, construction and repair rather than exploit loops.
Sources and limitations
Equipment values use the same catalogue as the linked equipment and mechanics pages. Weapon comparison tables use the same calculation model as the comparison tool. Installed defaults can differ from live offers or server-side changes. Missing values remain explicitly unknown. An article update date does not mean every underlying game fact was retested on that date.
AI-assisted drafting is used to organize documented information. This guide does not claim independent gameplay testing or certainty beyond its sources.
