Sources and research methods
WikiTactics is an independent WARDOGS reference, not an official publication from BULKHEAD or Team17. Equipment data, calculated results and practical recommendations are different kinds of information.
What the evidence means
- Game-data facts
- Recorded equipment, unlock and other definitions from the catalogue. Installed defaults do not prove current server-side prices, availability or runtime behavior.
- Calculated models
- Results derived from listed inputs and stated assumptions. Damage, TTK, attachment and trajectory calculations are not automatically in-game test results.
- Official documentation
- Developer or publisher descriptions and announcements. Their dates and scope matter; a design description does not establish an exact current payout or hidden numerical rule.
- In-game testing
- Only describe a result as tested when evidence identifies the game version, conditions and observed result. A catalogue record and an article update date are not substitutes for that evidence.
How the guides use the database
Guide tables read the same catalogue as equipment pages instead of keeping separate copies of prices and unlocks. Missing values remain unknown. Unlock fees are distinguished from shop prices. Interpretations and recommendations are labeled as such.
The cash and XP calculator evaluates 18 selected challenge-reward expressions from a retail game-data snapshot. Its results are event estimates before unverified server population and temporary modifiers; they are not a claim that a payout was observed in a live match.
AI-assisted drafting helps organize documented information and maintain the guides. It does not establish first-hand gameplay experience. Read the linked records, model assumptions and update notes before relying on a consequential calculation.

Community reference
Community sources can identify questions and discrepancies. A community claim is not silently promoted to a verified game fact.
