WARDOGS Progression Guide: Unlocks and Role XP
Separate the required track, the level gate, the unlock fee and the shop price. XP thresholds tell you how much XP is needed, not how quickly an activity earns it.
Catalogue defaults, documented rules and labeled community observations. Source details and model limitations
Read an unlock requirement correctly
Read the named progression track and required level first. A level in one track should not be treated as proof that a different track's gate is met.
The unlock fee and equipment purchase price are separate. Use the planner to list the targets you want, then use the equipment records to budget purchases.
| Track | Highest listed unlock level | Unlock table |
|---|---|---|
| Career | 150 | Career unlocks |
| Infantry | 50 | Infantry unlocks |
| Medic | 50 | Medic unlocks |
| Recon | 50 | Recon unlocks |
| Support | 50 | Support unlocks |
| Driver | 35 | Driver unlocks |
| Pilot | 35 | Pilot unlocks |
Total XP versus XP for the next level
A total-XP threshold is cumulative. The XP between adjacent levels is the later total minus the earlier total. Do not add all cumulative thresholds together to estimate the XP required.
WARDOG career level adds the six role levels. Each role has its own XP threshold and equipment unlocks; Career unlocks use the combined level.
What would establish faster leveling?
A threshold table does not measure XP earned per minute. To compare activities, record the relevant track's XP before and after the same observation window and include the game version and conditions.
Compare repeated observations and include the time spent preparing, traveling or replacing equipment. A single large XP event is not an hourly rate.
This guide does not publish an invented fastest-role ranking or treat cash rewards as role XP.
Plan the next reachable upgrade
- Choose a specific item rather than trying to buy every unlock in the track.
- Read its track, level and fee, then check whether your current character meets the gate.
- Use the planner to compare alternatives and preserve a purchase budget for the actual equipment.
- Recheck the item and update notes when progression or prices change.
Sources and limitations
Equipment values use the same catalogue as the linked equipment and mechanics pages. Weapon comparison tables use the same calculation model as the comparison tool. Installed defaults can differ from live offers or server-side changes. Missing values remain explicitly unknown. An article update date does not mean every underlying game fact was retested on that date.
AI-assisted drafting is used to organize documented information. This guide does not claim independent gameplay testing or certainty beyond its sources.
